The Light That Doesn’t Go Out
Leaving a legacy is a very special thing.
It’s our contribution to the human story. We don’t have to be Shakespeare, or Ludwig van Beethoven to leave a lasting legacy.
It can happen through developing human qualities that can’t be erased upon our passing.
Qualities such as
- Warmth
- Kindness
- Generosity
- Understanding
- Compassion
- Thoughtfulness and many more
Qualities that have been such a fundamental aspect of our lives they are woven into our DNA. And thus passed on to the next generation!
It could be as:
- A loving parent…
- A person dedicated to acts of kindness…
- A contributor to the world’s bank of knowledge and insight…
- An inspirational leader
- A healer or devotee of well-being
When we pass, we ourselves may no longer be here.
But the things we stood for certainly can be!
Core Qualities:
1: Honesty
2: Genuineness
3: Being Constant
The Shadow Light: Eclipsed
Eclipsed carries the warning, “Whatever it is you want to do with your life, don’t leave it until it’s too late!”
It introduces the psychologies of regret and remorse about what might have been, had we made different choices, or taken a different path in life.
Eclipsed causes procrastination to hold sway, as we put off making decisions in case things go wrong.
Leading us to saying to ourselves, “I told you so”, when they do.
Creating a breakdown of trust within ourselves about ourselves.
Meaning our growth and development become like seasonal fruit, which if not harvested in a timely manner, soon goes rotten.
So let’s create that well of confidence that allows you to think about yourself differently!
